John Cap, 91, of South Daytona passed away on January 23, 2018. Mr. Cap was a native of South Plainfield, N.J. He retired from Mack Trucks in 1974 & Publix SuperMarkets after 23 years. He proudly served his country in the US Navy during WW II and Korea as a signalman. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, Phyllis his wife of 67 years, sons: John Paul & wife Belva, Rick & wife Virginia, James, three grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren, 5 nieces and a nephew. The family will be receiving friends from 11:30 pm to 1:30 pm at the Heritage Place at Baldwin Brothers in Port Orange. He will then be laid to rest with military honors at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery at 3:00 pm, on Thursday, February 1.
