John Decker, 81, of Ft. Myers FL, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018.  Born April 24, 1936 in Paterson, NJ, John lived in Newark and Montville, NJ, and worked in transportation until his retirement and move to Ft. Myers.  Survivors include: his wife of 59 years, Rosalie; children Donna Kretsch (Kenneth), John Decker Jr. (Lina), Laura Spencer (David), Lisa Decker, Mary Danitz (James); grandchildren Leo and Brooke Kretsch (Rich Gamret), Kristina and Sarah Spencer, Justin and Ryan Decker.  John was predeceased in death by his sister, Lorraine Decker and his parents, John and Rose Decker.

A Mass will be held at 11 am, Friday, April 27, 2018 at St. Celia's Catholic Church in Ft. Myers.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial park bench is being planned at Lakes Regional Park in Ft Myers.  Donations can be made c/o Rosalie Decker, Golfview Golf and Racquet Club, 14849 Hole-In-One Circle S.
