John Douglas Drake, 91, of Summerfield Florida, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a lifetime of love, strength, and cherished memories.

John proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was known for his dedication to family, his caring heart, and the steady presence he brought to those around him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary; his son David; his daughter Dawn(Jim); and sister Patricia Ivanoff. He was a proud grandfather to Douglas and Jaime, and a loving great-grandfather to Jordan, Logan, and Lincoln. John also leaves behind many relatives and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

John will be remembered for his strength, love, and kindness he shared with everyone around him.
