Funeral Mass for John J Fitzsimmons, 91, New Smyrna Beach FL who died April 18, 2015 will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church New Smyrna Beach FL. Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Union NJ. John was born in Union, NJ and also lived in Newark, NJ before retiring to Florida. He served in the US Navy See Bees in WWII. He was a retired carpenter. Survivors include his wife Eugenie, children John Fitzsimmons, Jr, Mariann Abbaticola, Linda Hubschman, sister Veronica Gardner, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his first wife Matilda and his brothers and sisters.
