JOHN HENRY FORD, formally of Atlanta, GA and Ocala, FL was born February 07, 1927 in Hickory, North Carolina to the late Merle Huffman Ford and Boyce L. Ford. John graduated from Hickory High School, Hickory NC and received his B.S. Degree from Lenoir Rhyne College.

He served in the late closing of the II World War and the Korean Conflict in the Army Air Corp. He was also an active member of the U.S. Army Reserve, serving as a Second Lieutenant and was Honorably Discharged on December 18,1953. He spent his working career with Good Year Corporation.

He is survived by his daughters Mary Beth Rembert, of Johns Creek, GA and Grandson David A. Cunningham of NM and Linda Ford Aiken of Tucker, GA and Grandson Bryan H. Aiken, of GA. John is also survived by his nephew Richard Elmore of The Villages, Florida.

A family celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Hospice of Marion County, 3231 SW 34th Ave, Ocala, FL 34474.
