The patriarch of the Forza family has gone to rest with the angels in Heaven. John passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on August 28, 2026 surrounded by his family. Born John Andrew Forza on June 18, 1947 to John Forza and Evelyn Boasi. He grew up on 19 Wyckoff Street in Brooklyn. A hard worker from when he was very young as his father died when he was only 13 years old. He was always available to help his mom in any way. He met the love of his life Sari Roldan on a stoop on Butler Street in Brooklyn while she was visiting a friend. That was in 1963. It was love at first sight and so much more after that. He got engaged in 1967 and then was drafted into the Army. He came home in November of 1968 and got married and I returned to Germany with him for 2 years. He completed his 3 years and returned home. He worked at Dean Witter in Manhattan for 5 years then for 33 years was a mailman and walked his route. Everyone loved him. When he retired from there, he went on to drive TBI patients to their therapy. They loved him too. His greatest role was that of husband and father. Our wedding was November 30, 1968. Our son John was born August 24, 1972, our daughter Candice was born July 19, 1976 and our daughter Tiffany was born January 26, 1983. These were the happiest days of his life. He loved his children unconditionally. He was the best father ever. He didn’t know the word “NO” to his wife or his children. John was very talented too. He drew beautifully. He had a beautiful voice and sang in a church choir for many years. He also made many beautiful pieces of stained glass. He never met a stranger. He spoke to everyone. If you knew John, you loved him. We bought our first house in Brooklyn in 1976 in the blizzard snow storm. It was an adventure for him. Nothing ruined that moment of joy moving his family into their first home. We raised our children there for 26 years and then moved to Texas to become grandparents. We remained there for 2 more grandchildren and then we all moved to Florida. John is survived by his wife of 58 years Rosario (Sari) Roldan, his son John, his daughter Candice, his daughter Tiffany and husband Timothy Linge and his greatest joys- his grandchildren: Alicia, Jaxon, Keaton and Piper. A celebration of John’s life will be held on October 24, 2026 at the Beaumont Clubhouse at 7764 Penrose Place, Wildwood, Florida. A special Thank You to family and friends who sent condolences, food, prayers and support. A very appreciative Thank You to the folks at Cornerstone Hospice whose support and care made things easier.
