John Milton Furman Sr., 73, of Eustis, FL, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017. John was born January 31, 1944 in Port Jefferson, NY. His adoptive parents were Milton and Evelyn Furman. He grew up in Lake Grove, New York.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Joann; son, John Jr. (Florida); grandson, Kyle (Arizona); and great-grandson Isaiah Daniel (Arizona); brother, David (Thailand); sister, Isabelle (South Carolina); sister, Edith (New York); aunt, Beulah (New York); and 13 nieces and nephews.

John was of the Baptist faith. He loved God and his family. He enjoyed cars, motorcycles, planes, boats, nature, kids, and animals. John's other hobbies included trap and skeet shooting and reading history.

John owned his own trucking company for many years and later became a car salesman. In his retirement years he worked as a handyman.

John was a devoted and loved husband, father and friend. He will truly be missed by all.
