John Alonzo Gilmore 81, of Windermere, Florida passed away at Health Central Hospital in Ocoee, Florida on May 1, 2022. John was a Boone High School graduate and attended Orlando Community College for an associates degree. John served our country in the Army Reserves and active duty for a total of 7 years. He was a sales manager for Lawton Brothers, winning multiple awards in sales and sales training. He enjoyed walking, nature, and fishing. He sang in music groups known as the Representatives and the Christianaires. His family was his world. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Dorcas Braley Gilmore, four daughters Lisa Lowry of Ocoee, Lori Gilmore Page of Apopka, Lynette Colon of Windermere, and Lynn Rogers of Tampa, five grandchildren Skye, Isaiah, Amayah, Kailyn, and Ally, his sister Mary Jane Marshall of Fort Worth, TX, and brother Charles Gilmore of Orlando, Florida.
