John Kelvin Gloss, Jr (83) of Tavares, Florida passed away peacefully at the Cornerstone Hospice House on August 15, 2023.  He was born in Bradford, Pennsylvania on June 11, 1940.

John is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Janet (Little) Gloss and six children; Pamela J (Robbins) of Elizabethton, TN; Beverly A. Gloss of Port St. Lucie, FL; John K. Gloss III of Forest, VA; Julie M. Brova of Stuart, FL; Steven T. Gloss of Apopka, FL; and Ralph J. Wagner of Erie, PA.  John had Nine Grandchildren; Twelve Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild.  Siblings Eugene R. Gloss, Lucien Lawson, Dolores Piekowski, Joseph Lawson and the late Richard Gloss and Eleanor Maiorana.

John worked many years in the trucking industry as a Terminal Manager.  His passion was classic cars, and enjoyed spending time at the car shows with his wife.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
