John William Graniter, 78 of Winter Springs, Florida passed away September 24th at his residence. He was an Actuary for 40 plus years serving many insurance companies, He served the U S Army and the Army reserves for many years. He was Avid bridge player and ran a duplicate bridge group. He worked for the Census Bureau. He attended  Faith Baptist Church. A loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and Great-Great Grandfather, who's Legacy was kindness and gentleness, and was described as the most humble man they ever knew. He leaves behind a wife of 53 years Audrey Grantier, a daughter Jackie Devilbiss and her husband Russell Eugene, one son Mark Grantier and his wife Melissa Lynn, eight grandchildren Russell Devilbiss II, Theodore Devilbiss, Rachel Hussain, Amy Devilbiss, Rebecca Marsh, Ryan Devilbiss, Alexandria Lin Grantier, and Maxmillian David Grantier,  six great grandchildren Russell III, Blake, Ashley, Christian, Samuel, and Abigail, and one great-great granddaughter Shelby. A Celebration of Life Service will be held October 14th, 2014 at 11 am at Faith Baptist Church, Orlando Florida.
