John (Jack) Harding age 87 died on June 1, 2023, at home in New Smyrna Beach, FL. He was born on January 15, 1937, in Stamford, CT.

Jack is survived by his loving wife, Jo Anne, of 65 years and his children, Cheryl Hodge of Del Ray Beach, FL, Kathleen Jones and husband Greg of Parkton, MD and John Harding and wife Michele of New Smyrna Beach, FL. Also, 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and his brother Michael Harding of Darien, CT and several nieces and nephews.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Elizabeth Harding, brothers William and Thomas and sisters, Ann, Mary Lou, and Kathleen.

He served in the U.S Navy from 1954 to 1957 then worked for the electric company in Connecticut for 30+ years as a lineman. He enjoyed lobstering in Long Island Sound with his captain and buddy for many years. He also loved his golf and played and worked at Hidden Lakes Golf Club. A funeral mass will be held on June 9, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in new Smyrna Beach following with a Celebration of life at Hidden Lakes Golf Club, 35 Fairgreen Ave, New Smyrna Beach from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM after mass.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in Jack's name to Halifax Health Hospice or a charity of one's choice.
