John William Howard , age 75, of The Villages, FL since 2010, passed away on February 22, 2025. He was born on February 8, 1950, in Louisville, KY to Bill and Jean Howard. John lived in Louisville for 33 years and graduated from the University of Louisville in 1974.

John married the love of his life, Patty, on September 18, 1982, and moved to New Smyrna Beach, FL in August of 1983 where they lived for 27 Years. John retired in 2007 at age 57 having worked in the building products industry for over 20 years. John's primary interests were all sports and traveling having visited many European countries, Caribbean islands and domestically.

John was preceded in death by his father and mother. His survivors include his wife, Patty, of 43 years, son Jonathan (Jessica) of Indianapolis IN, stepdaughter. Jenny Jewell (Rocky), of Shelbyville, KY, grandchildren Olivia & Tyler Jewell and Palmer & Georgia Howard, brothers Terry and Bill of Louisville and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
