John Charles Kerber, age 79, of Ormond Beach, FL passed away surrounded by family on Monday, October 23rd. John was born in McKeesport, PA to William and Agnes Kerber.

John received a bachelors in Economics from Duquense University. John was focused on his career in finance and followed his passion to achieve the honor of Chief Financial Officer.

Upon retirement, John reconnected with his love of woodworking and cabinetry. He was a careful planner and always believed in measuring twice and cutting once.

John was known for his storytelling and could always capture the attention of his audience with his great delivery.

John is survived by his wife of 56 years, Judy, whom he married August 26, 1967 in Pittsburgh, PA: three children – Jay (Cindy) , Kim (Rudy), and Karrie (Dave). His grandchildren, Whitney, Jett, Alexa, Dane, Jace, Jack and Molly; his brother, Bill (Rose) Kerber of OK.

He was preceded in death by his sister Marianne (Kevin) Farley.

A private funeral for the immediate family will be held on Monday, October 30th. Family and friends are welcome to a post funeral reception at our home starting at 11:30am.
