John Wesley Malloy (78), of The Villages, FL., went home to the Lord on April 18, 2020.  John was born October 10, 1941 in Washington DC.  After graduating from Northwestern High School he enlisted into the United States Army, he served his country achieving the rank of Sergeant First Class E7, and was awarded the Purple Heart for injuries sustained during his service in Vietnam, he retired honorably after 22 years of service.

John is preceded in death by his parents Charles Joseph and Sarah Irene Malloy and his faithful dog Cody Jo.  He is survived by his children Christina (Brian) Barney (KS), Charles (Brandi) Malloy (FL), Robert (Dani) Malloy (Germany).  His stepchildren Angela Wicks (ND), and William Tyson (ND).  His grandchildren Lucas Gaxiola (TX), Kameron Gaxiola (CA). Audrey Russell (FL).

John will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers please make donations to your local VFW or Wounded Warrior Project.
