John Peter Mangini, 78, New Smyrna Beach FL died Wednesday, May 22, 2013. John was born on June 25, 1934 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to the late Rocco and Rose Mangini. He grew up In Roselle Park, New Jersey attended the local schools and is in the Roselle Park High School Athletic Hall of Fame. John graduated from Ithaca College in 1956.  He served our nation in the US Army. He was a plant manager for many years in the furniture and bedding industry. John leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Jean and three children; Jack (wife Patti) of Atkinson, New Hampshire; Jill and partner Robin Rolle of Middletown, New Jersey and Glen of New Smyrna Beach and grandson John Peter III of Boston, sister Madaline Vath of Edgewater and several nieces and nephews. He was a member of the New Smyrna Beach Men's Golf Association for many years and past President of the Inlet Villas HOA. Life Celebration will be 4:00PM Wednesday, May 29 at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach FL with the Redemptorist Fathers officiating.  The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 PM. The family requests that remembrances be made to the charity of your choice.
