John Arthur McCarty, 76, of Bonita Springs, FL passed away on January 17, 2019 at Joanne's House at Hope Hospice, Bonita Springs. He was born in Boston, MA to the late George C. and Alice T  (Marston) McCarty. Loving husband of the late Georgianna (Gray).  John was a longtime Phone Company employee, and he was a member of the Worthington Country Club in Bonita Springs, FL and the Halifax Country Club in Halifax, MA. He was an avid golfer, and he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. John is survived by his daughters Christine A. Vinal and her husband Mike, Kerin M. Caieiro and her husband Lou; his son, Sean A. McCarty; his grandchildren, Adam L. Caieiro, Alyssa G. Caieiro, Riley M. McCarty, Christopher Burgess and Mackenzie Burgess; his brother, Thomas G. McCarty; his sisters, Teresa A. Madan and Patricia A. Graney; and cherished  nieces and nephews. Arrangements are in the care and trust of Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Society, Ft. Myers, FL.
