Dr. John Karabatos, age 70, of Winter Park, Fl. passed away December 3, 2020, with his loving

wife Jacqueline by his side.

John was born in Bayridge, Brooklyn, N.Y..  the cherished son and only child of Mary and Peter Karabatos.

He graduated from Adelphi University with a BA and received his MD degree from the

University of Athens.  He did his postgraduate training at NYU Langone Hospital in Long Island, N.Y.

Dr. Karabatos was in solo practice for over 20 years in Orlando, Fl.  He was a dedicated and compassionate Physician who cared for his patients with the utmost integrity and respect.

John had a passion for cars, especially Alfa Romeos, which he could dismantle then reassemble with great enthusiasm.

He enjoyed travelling, photography, vintage films and radio programs.  He could spend hours in antique stores and flea markets, always searching for those unique items.

John will be forever loved and missed by both family and friends.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
