It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mike on April 27 with his family and friends by his side. Mike was born in DeLand on May 13, 1947 to Jack and Martha Lynn. He joined the Navy at age 17, serving for 8 years. He married his high school sweetheart, Dianne Barnes in Norfolk, VA in 1971. Mike and Dianne moved back to Florida where he took a position with Southern Wine and Spirits as a salesman, retiring after forty years of service in 2013. Mike was predeceased by his mother and father. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 47 years, Dianne, daughter, Debbie Norton (Max), sister Pattie Godwin (Jeff Kirkland), brothers, Gus (Mandee), Dennis and Sam, step mother Francis, sister in law Susan Polizzi (Bob), 5 nieces & nephews, 7 great nieces and nephews. Special thanks to his uplifting childhood friends, Randy Palmer, Frank Giumarra and Steve Nash. Services will be held on Saturday, May 5 at 3 pm at the Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home in Port Orange.
