John Monteleone, 85, of Ocala, FL, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022.  He was born in Arnold, PA to Frank and Anna Monteleone and moved to Ocala, FL in 1998 from Detroit, Michigan.  He worked as a metalurgical engineer with firms such as Valeo, Breed Technologies, Westinghouse Electric, and Pittsburgh DesMoines Steel.  He secured a patent for robotic welding which is still in use today.  John enjoyed travelling, beaches, and trips to Disney, as well as good Italian food.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Susan Monteleone of Ocala, son John (Deidra) Monteleone of Temple, TX, daughter Tracy Rebick of Cinncinatti, OH, son in law Michael Langford of Frewsburgh, NY, 3 grandchildren; Cody, Jared, and Katelyn, great granddaughter Evie, and a brother Frank Monteleone of Cabot, PA.  John was predeceased by his parents, his daughter Wendy, siblings Elizabeth, Reynold, Bart, and Samuel.

Memorial services will be private.  Memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Marion County.
