John Milton Pastirzyk, 79, of Galena, OH, passed away surrounded by family on May 25, 2020 in New Smyrna Beach, FL after an extended illness. John was born in Pittsburgh, PA on November 6, 1940 and was raised in Detroit, MI. He graduated from Salesian High School and received a Bachelor's degree from Wayne State University. He retired from Loeb Electric after an extended career in electrical contractor sales.  Throughout his life, he enjoyed watching sports, and even though he lived in Columbus, was an avid MSU Spartans fan. He also enjoyed reading, golf, boating, spending time with his grandchildren, and visiting his condo in Florida.

He was preceded in death by parents Milton and Eleanore (Gagnier) Pastirzyk, wife Linda Pastirzyk, sister Mary Juneau, infant brother Richard, and step-son Brandon Hursey. John is survived by sisters, Ann (Dennis) Wardowski and Laura (Bob) Davis; brother-in-law, Richard Juneau; children, Mike (Tonya) Pastirzyk, Tom (Gail) Pastirzyk, Sheri (David) Mayer, and Shellie (Jason) Hursey-Martin; grandchildren, Erica (Adam), Sam, Anna, Katie, John, Matthew, and Sara; great-grandchildren, Jack and Beau; many nieces and nephews, as well as special friend Marilyn Mathis.
