Peter passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017. He was born to Peter and Marie Pavlovich on October 1, 1926 in Podgorica, Yugoslavia. Known to many as Peter, he was raised in Wharton, New Jersey. At the age of 20 years he became a US citizen and was very proud. Peter joined the US Army and served time overseas. After the military he went to work for the Department of Defense at the Picatinny Arsenal. While living in Hopatcong, NJ, Peter held the course record at his local country club for many years. After retiring, he and his wife Betty moved to Stonecrest in Florida so he could continue his love of golf. Peter lived in Stonecrest for 22 years. Betty preceded him in death after 50+ years of marriage. Peter later met and married Janet Mannix and they enjoyed their retirement life together. Peter will be missed by many. Services will be held at Florida National Cemetery. Arrangements are by Baldwin Brothers, Lady Lake.
