John (Jack) Pyne of Summerfield, FL passed away on May 1, 2019 following a brief illness. Born July 17, 1930, Jack was raised in Melrose MA where he was recognized for his athletic accomplishments in high school and college.  He graduated from University of Massachusetts in 1952 and served with the Air Force in Korea. He later earned a masters degree in engineering from Northeastern University. Jack married Marilyn Lord in 1953 and they raised four children in Chelmsford MA. After a long career with Itek Corporation Jack and Marilyn retired to Florida where he enjoyed several years of golfing and time with family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, son, John (Jake) Pyne III of Summerfield FL, daughters Barbara Carey of Derry NH, Virginia Noyes of Wolfeboro NH and Martha Woodward of Chelmsford MA. He will also be missed by his 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. The family will hold a Celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family welcomes donations in his name to a charity of your choice.
