John Murray Rush, age 94, died Sunday morning, December 15, 2024.

Born in Clarksburg, W.Va. on August 19, 1930, John was the son of Andrew Vincent Rush and Mary Murray Rush, both deceased.  He was also pre-deceased by one brother, Michael A. Rush.

John is survived by his wife of 50 years, Anna Lou Emma Humphreys Lang Rush.  He is also survived by stepchildren, David Lang (Carol Johnson), Susan Miller (Joe), grandchildren Joshua Lang, Kyle Miller, Ashley Fernandez, Brieanne Roman, and many great grandchildren.

John graduated from St. Patrick's H.S. in Weston, W.Va. in 1948; graduated from Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio in 1952; graduated from W.Va. Law School, Morgantown, W.Va. in 1955.

He was associated with the law firm Slaven & Staker, Williamson, W.Va. From 1957 to 1959; was employed at Consolidated Gas Supply Corp. in Clarksburg, W.Va. from 1960 to 1991, and retired in 1991 with 31 years of service.  John and Anna Lou, the love of his life, then retired to Ormond Beach, Florida.
