Life Celebration for John Robert Schwarz, 70, Deland, FL who passed away February 16, 2018 will be 2:00 PM Saturday, February 24 at Lighthouse Christian Church Spring Garden Avenue Deland. John was born in Miami Beach, FL. He served our nation in the First and Ninth Air Cavalry as a helicopter pilot in Vietnam. He later graduated from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and worked as maintenance supervisor at Deland Regional Airport. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 43 years Karen, son Kevin, sister Mary Jane Seifried, two grandchildren,Isaiah Robert Schwarz and Ava Jessica Lee Schwarz and nieces and nephews. Committal will be at a later date at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
