John Silva-Medeiros, 59, of Edgewater died suddenly Friday, September 18, 2009 at his home.  John was born May 19, 1950 in Fall River, Massachusetts.  He worked for many years at the Department of Mental Health.  In 2003 he and his wife moved to Edgewater from N. Dighton, MA.  John enjoyed woodworking and photography and he was marvelous at doll making and tailoring.  John had so many talents that he shared with his family and friends.  He will be truly missed.  John is survived by his loving wife, Dorothea "Dottie"; two sons, Brian of Taunton, MA and Glen of Fall River, MA; four granddaughters, Justine, Jocelyn, Jenna and Amber and five siblings, Richard and David Medeiros, Marion Backlund, Dot King and Cindy Gagne.  11:00AM at Baldwin Brothers Cremation Society 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169 on September 26, 2009 (map/driving directions)
