John Souza Jr., a loving father, grandfather and brother, was called home on January 16, 2025 at the age of 65, after a long battle with cancer.

John was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on June 20, 1959 to John Joseph Souza and Mary Frances Durgin. He graduated from Haverhill High School in 1977. He took great pride in his work as an electrical manufacturing technician in the production of fire trucks for fire departments worldwide. John also enjoyed volunteering with youth throughout his life, as he had a passion to guide the younger generation to make good choices and to have fun and enjoy life.

John is survived by the mother of his children Pamela Souza (Eaton) and the 4 sons they raised together and their families; Bruce (Tammy) Eaton, Timothy Eaton, John Souza III, and Andrew (Jennifer) Souza; as well as 8 grandchildren and his sisters Linda Bowen (Howard Channell), Cindy (Philip) Carrubba, Laurie Yannakoureas (Gary Torrey Sr.). He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Carolann Jones and brother-in-law Frederick Jones.

Funeral arrangements are scheduled for February 14, 2025 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Haverhill, Massachusetts.
