John Strotman, 67, of Estero, Florida, passed away on July 13, 2024. He was born on May 14, 1957, in Aurora, Nebraska, to parents, James and Janet (Wright) Strotman.
John was a graduate of Aurora High School in 1975. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1980 and was stationed at Holloman Air Force Base in White Sands, New Mexico as a Sergeant USAFR.
After his service, he spent some time in Layfayette, Louisiana, working on an oil rig. He moved to Bonita Springs, Florida in 1987 and learned the drywall trade. He joined Bonita Springs Christian Church and became very involved in the drama ministry. John had a great God-given talent and performed in many Christmas, Easter and weekly Sunday service programs. John's faith served as a guiding light in both his personal and professional life.
John is survived by his daughter, Carol Strotman and her partner Richard Carwile, his grandson, Marty Strotman, his son, Michael Chorba and his wife Teresa, and his sister, Teri Schultz.
He was preceded in death by his parents James and Janet Strotman and Lucille Strotman.
A celebration of John's life will be scheduled at a later date.
