John Craig Suomu, 63, of Windermere, Florida passed away in Orlando, Florida. He was born in Worcester, Massachusetts to Elmer J. and Miriam Syrjanen Suomu. He grew up in Paxton, Massachusetts and graduated from Wachusett Regional High School, in Holden, Massachusetts in 1971. He later graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1978 with a B.S. in Computer Science. He worked at Chester Blackburn and Alamo Rent A Car. He moved to Florida in 1978 living and working in Pompano Beach, Boca Raton, and Hollywood. In 1998 He moved to Orlando in 1998 where he and is wife Faith Silverstein of 27 years, raised their family. They moved to Windermere in 2013 after the children left home. He was an Eagle Scout and active as a leader in scouting. He attended St. Luke's Methodist Church in Orlando. He Loved Travelling with his family especially taking road trips around the country visiting historic sites.
