John F. Thomas, 67, of New Smyrna Beach, FL passed away on July 16, 2021.  He was born in Charleston, South Carolina son of the late Catherine and Charles Thomas.  John's 40-year career was in the sign business. He rose from installing signs to plant manager, finally serving as Technical Service Representative. From this position he traveled the country overseeing the installations of signs.  John enjoyed life and spending time with his family. He was famous for his cookouts at his home on the St. John's River. Family gatherings for food and fun were frequent and full of love. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Barbara; sister, Kathy; brother, Don; children, Jennifer, and Matthew; grandsons; Myles and Gavin; nieces and nephews; Scott, Shelly, Karyn, and Steven; great nieces and nephews; Thomas, Sarah, Nicholas, Emily, Charlie, Emma Kate, Mac, and Evelyn; sister in laws; Donna, Rose, and Debra. A celebration of life will be celebrated 3:00 pm, Saturday, July 24,2021 at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home 1 N. Causeway, New Smyrna Beach, Florida.
