Jack was born March 19, 1943 to John and Jean VanDerHorn in Patterson, New Jersey. Her served in the United States Air Force and retired from Southwest Florida Regional Airport.

He has joined his beloved wife of 53 years and is survived by his daughters, Lisa Wright of Cape Coral, Florida and Carol Weimer of Cocoa, Florida, a brother, Dave VanDerHorn of The Woodlands, Texas. Jack had Six Grandchildren.

Jack was a loving father and he adored his wife. He enjoyed tending to his gardens and had a great sense of humor. He will be dearly missed.
