John Whitney White died at the age of 91 at his retirement community, Village on the Isle in Venice, Florida.

Survived by his wife of 66 years, Karen K. White, children; Darryll K. White (Genie Lagrosa), Rhonna W. Phillips (Jonathan), Sharma W. Shumway (James), grandchildren; Jeanine Molella Davis, Connor T. Molella and Great Grandchild, Howl Davis.

A graduate of UCONN, majoring in Geology, a rewarding career spanning 41 plus years in Executive Management and Human Resources throughout the U.S. and a veteran of the Army Reserves, Army Active Duty and Army National Guard.

John engaged lifelong church membership and actively volunteered. Best remembered for love of stamp collecting, firefighting services, selflessly helping others and unwavering commitment to family.
