Wilson, John Edward passed through the veil at home on July 03, 2024. He was born on January 03, 1941 in Gainesville, Florida to John Wesley and Myrtis (Teena) Pearson Wilson. John was predeceased by his parents, his brother David Wilson, and his sister Edith C Wilson Williams.

John was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served in many callings. John was a blessing to the many members he served. He was loved by many and missed by most. John worked in the Insurance Industry for most of his life. He enjoyed boating through this past year. He taught all his children to water ski. All of the children enjoyed being out on the boat with pop. He owned a boat of some sort for the best part of his life. When he didnot have a boat, he lived through the adventures of his son's family on their boat. He was always asking for pictures of their adventures.

John is survived by his wife of 33 years, Mary Seidle Wilson. He and Mary retired to Deland in August of 2003 from Ponte Vedra Beach. He is also survived by his children, John C Wilson, Heather L (Kevin) Caldwell, Jennifer L Moore and Jacob A (Karin) Wilson. His 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
