Johnny W. Tipton (July 2, 1952-Sept. 15, 2019) of Deltona FL, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at his home with his wife and daughter by his side.

Johnny was born in Wise County VA and grew up in Logan County WV. He was an underground coal miner in WV most of his life until a mining accident forced him to retire early.

He retired to Florida in the 1980's and enjoyed playing softball when he was able. He also loved fishing and the outdoors.

Johnny is proceeded in death by his father Frank Tipton and mother Helen (Belcher) Tipton of Logan county WV. He is survived by his wife Christine Tipton of Deltona FL, his daughter Kristel Tipton Greene  and son-in-law Keegan Greene of Oak Hill FL along with his four grandchildren Kelsie, Keegan Jr, Kylie, and Kenzie, also of Oak Hill FL.

Johnny is also survived by 2 sisters, Jackie Adkins of Deltona FL and Judy Easterling of South Carolina, along with brothers Frank Tipton of Colorado, Jimmy Tipton of WV, and Kris Tipton of FL.

He will dearly missed by those closest to him.
