Captain Jon R. Dennebaum, 81, of Port Orange, FL, passed away on Monday, October 7th, 2024. Capt. Jon was born on June 25th, 1943 in Newark, NJ. and spent his early years in Belmar, NJ.

At the age of 17, he joined the Navy and went to UDT school. Once he was discharged from the Navy, he worked as a truck driver and a lifeguard in Belmar. In November 1987, he moved to Fort Lauderdale and became a boat captain. After many years of tournament fishing, he and his wife Susan started SST Marine Consulting.

He is predeceased by his parents, Vincent and Mary Dennebaum. He is survived by his wife Susan, Fort Lauderdale, FL, son, Jay Manzella, Freehold, NJ, daughters, Julie Dennebaum-Donoghue (Tom), Leonardo, NJ, Marlyn Dennebaum (Chris), Orlando, FL, and Joni Dennebaum, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 6 grandchildren, brother, Vincent Dennebaum (Gail), Manasquan, NJ, and 3 nieces.
