Jon Messier, 51 of Mount Dora, FL, passed away suddenly on Monday the 17 ^th of July.

Jon was born in Fall River, MA to parents, Robert A. Messier, Sr. and Pauline (Beauregard) Messier.  He grew up in Assonet, MA and enjoyed hunting, boating with his family, and won awards for shooting & boating as a child.  He attended New England Technical School and New England Tractor Trailer School.

He married his wife , Lisa (Moore) Messier, and together they owned Bubbles-n-Paws Dog Grooming for 17 years before moving to Florida with their son, Nicholas Robert Messier.

Jon loved singing and his dream was to sing in his own rock band.  He was an excellent cook and loved cooking for his family.  He was an avid gun owner and enjoyed shooting.  He was a dedicated Husband, Father, Son, Brother, and a loyal friend.

Jon is survived by his wife, Lisa (Moore) Messier and son Nicholas Robert Messier; His Mother, Pauline Messier; Sister, Lisa Benevides and Brother In Law, Edward Benevides; Brother Robert A. Messier, Jr. and Sister In Law, Lisa Leveque; Mother In Law, Veronica Moore; Sister In Law, Sandra Seridonio, and several beloved Nieces & Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Robert A. Messier, Sr..

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, August 7 ^th from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society at 1350 E. Burleigh Blvd., Tavares, FL 32778
