With sorrow in our hearts, we announce the passing of Jonathan Boyd Jenks, a kind and fun-loving man, on July 15, 2025, at the age of 48. Born on September 18, 1976, Jonathan was the cherished son of Lawrence "Byron" Jenks and Theresa Jenks, both of whom survive him.

John "Boyd" was a Master Carpenter and Woodworker, a true craftsman whose skill and dedication were evident in every project he touched. His passion for creating with his hands was matched only by his love for the outdoors, he found joy in hunting, fishing, and shooting pool. John's greatest happiness came from spending time with his friends and family, sharing laughter, stories, and unforgettable moments.

He is survived by his loving wife, Loren; his children, Sarah Dupuy (Sam Bridge), Nicole Marcello (Brandon), and Joshua Sineni; and his grandchildren, Cillian Sineni and Lane Bridge, who brought him endless pride and joy. John also leaves behind his beloved sister, Marienne Young (David), and his niece and nephew, Breanna and Zachary Young.

John's warmth and humor touched everyone who knew him. His endearing spirit lives on in the memories and hearts of those he loved so dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 12090 Metro Pkwy. Family and friends are invited to come together to honor John's life and share their memories.

He will be deeply missed, but the love he shared and the lives he touched will never be forgotten.
