Jose E. Gois, 73, of Edgewater passed away September 20,2020. Jose is survived by his wife, Olga Gois, son Steven and his wife Delia Gois and their two girls, Ashley and Amanda, whom he adored, his siter Zulmira Barata of Peabody MA, brother, Elder Gois of East Providence, RI as well as several nieces and nephews throughout the US and Canada, and many friends in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Teresa Silveira, brothers, Lizuarte Gois, Alberto Gois and Clemente Gois and one sister Alzira Bettencourt. Mr. Gois loved his family above all else and spending time with them. Closely followed by a love of sports, in particular, soccer. His favorite team being Sporting from Portugal. The family will receive Wednesday, September 23. 2020, 10:00-11:00 am at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am. Burial will be in Edgewater Cemetery, Edgewater, Florida.
