José Otón Toro Zambrano, fondly known as Otto, passed away on May 31st, 2023 in Cape Coral, FL, USA.

Otto was born in La Tendida, Táchira State, Venezuela to Manuel Salvador and Oliva del Rosario on January 16, 1934. He went to school in San Simón, Táchira State, Venezuela.

He married Irma de los Dolores Sánchez on February 14th, 1959 in Caracas, Distrito Federal, Venezuela.

Otto was preceded by his parents and siblings. He is survived by his wife, Irma; his children, José Manuel, Ana, Thais and Daisy; his daughter and sons in law, Tesalia, Bob, and Julio; his granddaughters, Dayanna, Daleana, Adriana, Ilyana, Fabiola, and Vanessa, and great granddaughter, Xyla.

Otto worked as a teller in the Venezuela Central Bank for most of his professional years. He loved to plant and care for trees, vegetables, and herbs, and enjoyed getting together with family and friends, playing Dominos, and telling jokes. He graced us with his life' stories, joy, and smile and had a desire to live and keep his family together. He lives in our hearts. The memories he has left will definitely be with us forever.
