Jose (Joe) Antonio Rodriguez, 79, passed away peacefully at Mike Conley Cornerstone Hospice in Clermont, FL on November 6, 2022. He was born in Key West, FL on August 16, 1943.

Joe was a longtime resident of Miami, FL where he worked for the Miami Herald and then retired from the Miami Review. After retirement Joe and his partner Tom relocated to Lake County, FL and for the past several years resided in Mount Dora, FL.

He is survived, and will be sorely missed by his longtime partner Thomas J Flood Jr. Joe is also survived by his cousins, David Lewis and Nancy Lewis, and several other family members and close friends.

Joe is predeceased by his mother Celia Martinez, and his father Heriberto Rodriguez, as well as his brother Laurencio (Larry) Rodriguez.
