Jose M. Velazquez, 79, of Longwood, FL passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026, surrounded by family.  He was born on May 5, 1946, in Moca, Puerto Rico, he spent his life working as a skilled mechanic, but he was a jack of all trades.  He enjoyed tinkering in his garage, cars, and spending time with his family.  Jose was the rock of the family.  He was a devoted family man and the constant in our lives.  He was the steady hand that guided us through every challenge.  He provided a shelter of strength and endless love.  His wisdom was our compass and his love our anchor.

Jose is survived by his daughters, Judy Velasquez, Marie Velasquez, and Jenny Velasquez, also grandchildren Eddy, David, Chris, and Alexandria.  His departure has left an ache, but his love for his family and memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.

Per his request there will be no services.  Arrangements for cremation are being handled by Baldwin Brothers Cremation and Funeral Society of Orlando, Florida.
