July 29, 1947 – May 2, 2025

Joseph Albert Baczewski, 77, of The Villages, FL passed away on May 2, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.  Born in Manhattan, Joe lived most of his life in New Jersey.  He lived a life marked by love, hard work, and devotion to his family.

Joe will be remembered for his deep love for his family; he is survived by his beloved wife, Rosangela A. Baczewski of The Villages, FL; his son, Joseph M. Baczewski of New Jersey; his daughter Jennifer D. Baczewski of Delaware; and his sister, Gloria E. Penrose of New Jersey.  Joe's family was the center of his world; his presence in their lives was a constant source of guidance, humor, and support.

Joe enjoyed a long and successful career with Bristol Meyers Squibb where he worked for over 30 years.  He was known for his dedication, professionalism, and quiet strength – qualities that extended far beyond the workplace into all aspects of his life.  Joe had a life-long passion for deep sea fishing and cars.  In retiring to The Villages, Joe found enjoyment golfing and playing table shuffleboard with friends.  Joe's legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
