Joseph "Joe" R. Caban, 82, of Ocala, FL, went home to the good Lord on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at his home. Joseph was born on September 21, 1941, in Braddock, PA, the son of the late Paul V. and Pauline Kan Caban. Prior to retirement in September 2000, Joe was employed at W.E. Aubuchon Warehouse in Westminster, MA for 31 years. While at W.E. Aubuchon, he was a member of the Teamsters Local 170 and served as union steward for many years. He also was a proud veteran and served in the US Army in the 60's.

Joe is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 41 years, Ida "Sis" Laflamme Caban; six sons, Joseph Raymond (Denise Gaudet) of Dunnellon, FL, Jeff (Robin) of Fitchburg, MA, John S. (Kelly) of Fitchburg, MA, Francis D. (Jamie) of Barre, MA, Joseph Henry of Ocala, FL, David E. of Spring Hill, FL; nine grandchildren, Dr. Kayla, Angel Nicole, Grace, Colby, Emma, Caleb, Stef, Kef, Chris,; sister-in-law, Evelyn of Irwin, PA; sisters, Flo Cody of N. Irwin, PA, Rose DiCenzo, Barbara Rolinski of West Mifflin, PA, Joan Hruby (Bob) of West Mifflin, PA; brother, Ed Caban (Patty) of White Oak, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Paul Caban; and sister, Eleanor Berkavich.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 1pm at Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Society, 954 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ste 200, Ocala, FL 34470.
