Joseph Carl Barango "Joe", age 79, originally from Chicago, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2020 at Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House, Palm Coast, Florida after battling lung cancer.

Joseph was born to Joseph Barango and Madeline {Genualdi} Barango, on August 11,1941. Joe is predeceased by his parents, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, and many other family members. He is survived by his wife Karen Barango, 2 daughters Gina McVey and Victoria Erway, 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and many other nieces and nephews.

Joe went into the Marine Corps at the age of 17 and spent the next 4 years serving his country before marrying and raising a family. He enjoyed learning new things and picked up several different trades. His real love was flying and in 1969 received his pilot's license. He spent over 700 hours flying. In 1973 he was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He spent many hours telling others about his faith and shared that with any that would listen to him. He will be remembered fondly by his many friends and family.
