Joseph Dudley Ellis IV, 77 of Ocala, FL, passed away on December 13, 2023. He was born in Birmingham, AL to Nell and Dudley Ellis. Joseph was an Industrial Engineer, working 25 years at Alabama Power/Southern Company Services in International Economic Development. He graduated from Auburn University in Industrial Engineering and earned his Master's in Business from Troy State University. Joseph enjoyed boating, hiking, and hanging out with his friends. He was often heard to say, "You Are, where you were when". Survivors include his Wife Jane Ellis, Son Jody Ellis, and Grandson Jo Ellis. No local services are planned. Final resting place will be in Ocala, FL.
