IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joseph
Greco
December 8, 1933 – October 31, 2022
Joseph A Greco, age 88, born on 12/8/33, died peacefully at Hope Hospice, Cape Coral on 10/31/22 after a courageous and long battle with lung cancer. He was preceded in death by the love of his life and devoted wife of 48 years, Suzanne (Loughney), loving parents, Andrew and Rosalie (Pedone) Greco, older siblings and their spouses, Jerome (Lucille) Greco of Bloomfield, NJ, Rose (Arthur) Piccirillo of Union, NJ, and Nephews and Nieces, Daniel (Janet) Greco, and Andrew Greco. He is lovingly survived by his devoted son and daughter-in-law Joe and Janece Greco of Cresco, PA, and devoted daughter/caregiver, Diane Greco of Fort Myers, FL, as well as his devoted grandchildren whom he adored, Katelyn Greco (Significant Other, Zeb Liburd) of Brooklyn, NY and Matthew Greco of Cresco, PA. Also surviving are many loving grand-nieces, grand-nephews, their spouses, children and Cousins.
Our Patriarch of the Greco Family thoroughly lived life to the fullest! He was hilarious to be around and his smile lit up a room. You knew when he entered it by hearing him laugh! After raising his family in Edison/lselin, NJ, then retiring from his career as a high-level ATT computer programming manager in NY and Newark, NJ/Gateway, he moved to Cinnamon Cove in Fort Myers, FL in 1992. There, he further lived life to the fullest by fishing, boating and sharing his greatest fish tales, the biggest catches and his love of fishing with all. His Annual Fish Fry, attended by so many Cinnamon Cove residents, was a testament to how much he was loved in his community! While fishing may have been his passion, his family was his greatest pride and joy. He will be forever remembered and always loved.
We are so grateful to the superb nurses and staff at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral, Florida, who offered excellent care in his final days. So please, in his memory, we would appreciate donations to be made to any Hope Hospice in the Fort Myers area. Memorial Mass at St Columbkille Catholic Church of Fort Myers, FL., November 30, 2022 at 10:00am.
