Joseph James Grimes, Born February 16, 1935 on Long Island, New York, to James and Loretta Grimes. He had three brothers, Thomas, Jack, and James.

Joseph passed away on January 14, 2021, at Advent Hospital in Ormond Beach, Florida after a lengthy bout with prostate cancer.

Joe is survived by his loving wife, Joyce, his children, Charlene, Joseph, Jr., and Renee, and the love of his life, his loving dog, Lucy.

Joe was an avid racing and football fan and loved western music. A few years after high school, Joe joined the U.S. Army, and served in many locations throughout his career, including Vietnam, and retired with many honors.

He will be lovingly missed by the entire family.
