Joseph "Joey" F. Strano passed away unexpectedly on February 15, 2026, in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Joey was born on December 10, 1972, in Homestead, Florida. He attended South Dade High School and went on to work on his family's farms in Homestead, Florida and Oswego, New York, where he spent his summers.

His is survived by his loving parents, Freddy and Carol Strano; his sister, Ann Marie Strano; his brother, Tony Strano; his nephew, AJ Strano; his girlfriend of several years, Penny Downing; and many cousins. He cherished his time with family and always enjoyed his talks and special bond with his cousin, Sean Strano.

Joey was preceded by his grandparents, Virgil and Dorothy Radford and Agatino and Angelina Strano; and his uncles, Rosario, Vito, and Joe Strano.

Joey had a deep love for football and was a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was also passionate about NASCAR and attended the Daytona 500 on the day of his passing. In his free time, he enjoyed planting and tending to his vegetable garden, riding his side-by-side with friends in New York, and cooking with his longtime friends, Rodney and Tiffany Davis.

Joey will be remembered for his love of family, his strong work ethics, and the joy he found in life's simple pleasures.

A Memorial Service will be held on March 7, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Caballero Rivero Palms Woodlawn, located at 27100 Old Dixie Highway in Naranja, Florida.
