Joseph Bertrand Lamkin 01/21/1934-11/23/2020 Joseph Bertrand Lamkin, age 86, passed away peacefully at his residence in Port Orange, FL. Joseph was born in Raywick, Kentucky, the son of Mary and Joseph Lamkin. In 1955 he married Doris Jean Lamkin and from this union 2 sons were born, Steven Ray and Mark Anthony. Joseph began his career working for Kroger's in Louisville, KY, which started his dream of owning his own grocery store. Joseph relocated to Port Orange where he established an IGA. His most passionate job was being a school bus driver for New Smyrna Beach, FL where he retired from. Joseph was a frequent diner for morning breakfast with family and friends every Thursday at Tim's Corner Restaurant in Port Orange. He will be dearly missed by ALL. Joseph is predeceased by his wife Doris. He is survived by his 2 sons, Steven and Mark, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other family and friends.
