Joseph P Lawlor II, 80, of Edgewater, NJ and Ormond Beach, Fl passed away September 13, 2024, in Florida. He was born November 7, 1943, in Englewood, NJ to Joseph P and Henrietta (Penny) Lawlor. He was a devoted husband to the late Barbara (Van Berkel) Lawlor.

Joe lived his life to the fullest. His career was devoted to the Fire Service, retiring from the Edgewater, NJ Fire Department for which he was a fire fighter, Sub Code Official and Fire Inspector. He also worked in various towns in the fire service after retiring. He was a Life member of the New Jersey Firefighters Association.

After retiring, Joe along with Barbara, spent a very fun and happy time traveling across this Great Country for 10 years in a 40-foot Motorhome before making Ormond Beach their winter home.

Loving father of his daughters, Debbie Andrews (Larry), Denise Tufaro (Thomas), and Colleen Elhady (Hosam). Cherished Grandfather of AnneMarie, Daisy, Ari, Leeann, Allison, Yousef and Nour. Cherished Great-Grandfather to Bryan, AJ, Noah and Lorelei. He is also survived by his sister Mary Lawlor.

A Memorial Service will be held in Edgewater, NJ which will be announced at a later date.
