It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Joseph Thomas "Tom" Liberti, of Fort Myers,Florida, on July 11, 2025 at the age of 72. He was born on November 1, 1952 in Alliance, Ohio to Joseph and Pauline (Corbisella) Liberti. He graduated from Marlington High School, Alliance, Ohio and earned his bachelors degree in business from Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio.

After working summers as a park ranger, sports writer and unprofessional softball player, he decided to start a serious career in an entry level position with Standard Oil. From this position Tom would finish his career as the Vice President and COO of Phillips 66 Partners.

Tom believed in hard work and loyalty, he was known for his generosity and kindness. His enjoyment for golf was only challenged by his passion for the Cleveland Browns. Tom enjoyed his many friends and they enjoyed his unique ability to bring out the very best in people, in business and life.

He was a regular Saturday attendee of  St. John the XXIII Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Joseph and his mother, Pauline. He is survived by his daughter, K.C. (Stewart) Liberti-Wilson, his sister Paula Liberti, brothers David Liberti and Gary (Mary Ann) Liberti and many nieces and nephews.

K.C was the star of his life and she will say he was the star of hers. "The impact he made on my life is indescribable, and I know I'm not the only one. I was just the lucky one to be his daughter".  Tom will be remembered as a great father, boss and mentor, true friend and great brother.

Tom loved and was loved by his extended family and friends. He will be deeply missed and always in our prayers.

Services will be handled by Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home.

There will be a memorial mass at St. John XXIII on Thursday, July 24 at 10:00 AM. A celebration of life will follow at Fiddlesticks Country Club.
